Theory

The theory app is a train & practice course player: each course module pairs lesson videos with worksheet exercises rendered as real engraved scores. Instead of playing along with a transport, you write music.

How it works

• Courses (Elementary rudiments, Notation, …) are organized in modules; each module has videos and exercises, with progress and watched-video tracking kept locally.
• Exercises are fill-in-the-blank scores: interval ear-tests, primary triads and inversions, cadence writing, passing and auxiliary notes, dominant sevenths and more.
• Answer from any input: the clickable virtual piano, the circle-of-fifths wheel, or your MIDI keyboard.
• Check, reveal, listen — verify your answer, reveal the model solution, or play back either one.

No MIDI instrument is required — theory is fully playable with mouse or touch.
